A national commercial builder that specialises in medium to high density residential projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver their large programme of works including projects valued over $100M.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director, you will manage all aspects of the project from establishment of the project plan through to practical completion. On a day-to-day basis, you will be carrying out the following duties:
- Monitor, review & report on the performance of the project against the approved budget and key milestones
- Risk assessments and implement risk minimisation strategies
- Develop and implement the project quality plan
- Staff development and performance reviews
- Conduct regular site safety walks and managing all safety issues on site
- Monitor and review the project's performance measures/indicators for key aspects such as financial, safety, quality, client satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualification in Building and Construction
- Experience delivering commercial projects above $30M
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Applicants wanting to get or already possess an A Class Building Licence are encouraged to apply
