Unify Recruitment have partnered up with a highly established Brisbane based mechanical contractor who works heavily in the commercial construction space. They have been in operation for 20+ years and are continuing to grow their footprint nationally.
Due to 3 major hospital project wins they are looking to bolster their drawing team.
As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Drawing Manager and will primarily focus on generating Mechanical shop drawings using AutoCAD & Revit.
What we're looking for:
- Proficient in producing Mechanical design drawings efficiently using AutoCAD.
- Capable of collaborating with engineers to ensure compliance with project expectations and design criteria.
- Preparation of preliminary and detailed drawings for engineering projects, adhering to project technical specifications and standards.
- Ensuring timely completion and high-quality output of design drawings.
- Managing the design process from concept sketches to finalised as-built drawings.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Cultivate a safety-conscious work environment while delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as an AutoCAD/Revit drafter.
- Certification in AutoCAD/Revit or similar drafting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Great attention to detail.
- Previous experience in Drafting large construction projects is advantageous.
