Programmed Training Services in partnership with Yarra Ranges Council are seeking highly motivated individuals to apply for the Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship.
This is a great opportunity to learn a trade throughout this 4-year apprenticeship while studying towards for a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.

As an apprentice you will be:
- Committed to safety
- Have a genuine interest in gardening/horticulture
- Hold a driver's license
- Willing to learn and able to take instruction
- Physically fit
Duties may involve but are not limited to:
- Maintain park and park assets
- Control plant pests, diseases and disorders
- Mowing, litter collection, planting, herbicide/chemical application, weeding, mulching, pruning
- Tree maintenance and minor structure repair.
- Plant and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flower/plant beds and maintain hard landscaping
- Troubleshoot irrigation systems
