Class 4 Delivery Driver to join one of our valued engineering clients based in Hamilton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road and working with a professional team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a Class 4 truck to deliver materials and equipment to various job sites and clients across the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at delivery points.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is maintained in good working condition.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery dockets and logbooks, accurately and on time.
- Maintain excellent communication with the dispatch team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times.
Skills & Experience:- Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Class 4 delivery driver, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in the Hamilton area.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
- Strong commitment to safety and following all traffic regulations.
- A reliable and punctual work ethic.
