Drain Layer to join one of our trusted civil construction clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drain layer to work on a variety of infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of key civil systems across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain underground drainage systems for residential, commercial, and civil construction projects.
- Read and interpret engineering plans, ensuring all installations meet specifications and compliance standards.
- Excavate trenches, lay pipes, and connect drainage systems to ensure proper flow and function.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Operate excavation and other relevant machinery as required.
- Test and inspect completed drainage systems to ensure they meet functionality and safety standards.
- Work closely with other trades on-site to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills & Experience:- Proven experience as a Drain Layer in civil construction.
- Solid understanding of drainage systems, pipe laying, and trenching techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret drainage plans and drawings.
- Experience operating excavation and other related equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work practices.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver’s license and own transport is preferred.
