About The Role
As a Civil Designer in this business, you’ll play a crucial role in the design and development of major civil engineering projects, infill and subdivisions. You’ll work autonomously while collaborating closely within a talented team of engineers and other designers, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and comply with industry standards.

Duties
- Lead the design and drafting of civil engineering projects, focusing on stormwater, road, and utility layouts.
- Create detailed civil engineering drawings and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.
- Engage with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure designs align with their specifications.
- Prepare site-based stormwater management reports and code compliance documents for development applications.
- Review and refine design plans to guarantee accuracy and functionality.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely execution of all tasks.
- Participate in design meetings and address scope changes proactively.
- Champion quality management throughout the project lifecycle, swiftly resolving any issues that arise.
- Contribute to business development efforts by engaging with potential clients and exploring new opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 4-5 years+ experience in civil design and drafting, focusing on urban development projects
- Proficient in 12D, AutoCAD, and stormwater modeling software
- Strong interpersonal skills, client engagement skills to understand project requirements and ensure designs meet specifications
