Here at Concentis, we are seeking an EOI from Planners and Schedulers in the Queensland region with experience in operational environments, shutdowns and Heavy Mobile Equipment.
Concentis has upcoming short-term and FIFO opportunities that will allow you to use your extensive experience to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive plans for fixed plant and/or mobile equipment, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and minimal downtime.
- Collaboration with maintenance and operations teams to schedule, coordinate, and execute activities in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on the progress of activities, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure project timelines are met.
- Utilise project management tools and software to track and manage schedules, resources, and costs.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials and resources for projects.
- Translate plans into actionable schedules, adjusting for unforeseen challenges or changes in the operational environment.
About You:
- Proven experience working in planning and/or scheduling within the mining industry.
- Experience with SAP Software.
- Strong knowledge of fixed or mobile plant equipment and maintenance processes.
- Proficient in using project management tools and software for planning and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detailed-orientated with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
