AWX Mount Isa are currently seeking Paste Plant Operators to commence immediately at a local mine site. This role will have you reporting to the Fill & Services supervisor and you will be required to operate the paste plants. The roster is 7 on 7 off, day and night continuous shift. We encourage local candidates to apply but will consider FIFO for experienced operators. This will be from Brisbane or Townsville only.
Minimum requirements:
- Valid Australian manual driver's licence
- RII Loader ticket/certificate and demonstrated experience operating CAT 980 loaders
- Ability to pass a low risk medical & JTE along with a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement
- Paste Plant or Quarry experience
Some duties you will be responsible for:
- Operate paste plants
- Operate surface loaders, light trucks, mobile impactors and screeners
- Perform house keeping of the work areas
- Monitor the plant and attend maintenance
- Labouring duties
- Computer and data entry work
