The Role
Under the supervision of our Operations Manager, you will oversee:
After familiarizing yourself with our environment and our tools, you will be in charge of deploying our dedicated solution for Public Works sites at one of our customers in Adelaide : underground or engineering structures.
- Manage Project operations & support related to the deployment of UBY solutions on construction projects.
- Supervise I&M activities on large projects and manage instrumentation engineers.
- Office-based work involves the design, planning, and preparations for the installation and implementation of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems; preparing documentation and maintaining records; reporting to clients; liaising with stakeholders; identifying specific requirements; problem solving; engaging and managing subcontractors; maintaining installation records; reviewing data and creating factual reports; and gaining approvals.
- Site work will involve overseeing and assisting with the installation of instrumentation in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements; installing, programming and commissioning data loggers and telemetry devices; maintaining impeccable records and ITPs; and promoting a safe workplace with zero harm.
- Manage works programs and scheduling personnel and subcontractors where personnel are assigned to you for project specific purposes.
- Enforcing high H&S and Quality standard on our operations.
- Manage commissioning, customer training, support with the product data managers.
- Ensure a high level of satisfaction of our clients.
- Collaborate with the product team on the roadmap of the products.
Profile
You have a confirmed Construction, methods or equipment on major projects: tunnels, engineering structures,... experience of at least 10 years and a knack for digital products and services.
You are curious, thorough, and self-driven with a keen ear for your clients’ needs and pain-points to which you try to find the best solutions. You are a team player and feel comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment. You are interested in technology, IoT, connected objects and the digitalization of construction sites.
You are a native English speaker, proficient in writing and speaking. Some knowledge of French would be useful.
