The Role
Our Melbourne office is looking for a Structural Drafter to form a key part of a growing team.
We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills, gained in either a multi-disciplinary or engineering consultancy environment who now wants to enhance and diversify these skills within a growing organisation that will support their future development.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Integral member of national drafting team, with 2 local senior drafters to provide mentoring
- Preparation of engineering Revit models, drawing sets, and details
- Maintaining quality and technical standards with your work
- Interfacing with drafters, document controllers, and engineers
- Interfacing with other members of the design team such as architects etc.
Essential To This Position You Will Have
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technologies or similar study background
- 2 to 3 years structural drafting experience with BIM modelling in Revit. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will not be considered for this role.
- Knowledge and drafting capability in CAD
- Have the appetite to learn and grow
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management and prioritising skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Role includes high security projects for which Australian (or NZ) citizenship is required.
