Your role
Required
As Site Manager, you will ensure your projects are completed efficiently, safely and in a timely manner, whilst remaining compliant and professional. Working with Project Managers, labour and subcontractors, your coordination and planning skill, together with excellence in people skills, are paramount to deliver successful outcomes for clients. You will be required to:
- Work to deadlines and achieve optimum outcomes in Site Management and delivery of projects
- Maintain sound relationships with all clients, architects, government departments, specialist consultants and all relevant persons with an interest in the works while projecting a professional image by way of conduct, manner and personal presentation
- Check that all dimensions on drawings and details are compatible and if not, seek support
- Complete inspections and Test Plans for quality control
- Complete Daily Diary requirements
- Induct all subcontractors and ensure they are compliant with site specific requirements, and provide all set out points required by the contract to enable subcontractors to perform their works
- Have a complete understanding and working knowledge of specifications, drawings and contract documents
- Ensure work is being carried out appropriately and to a quality standard, whilst providing appropriate data to enable subcontractors to perform their works
- Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of detailed project programmes and monitor progress
- Assist in general technical and administration activities of the project and liaise with other specialists as required
- Perform site inspections and manage inductions
- Test Plans for quality control
- Identify and record defects, reporting immediately where required
- Provide reporting to senior leadership as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and manage safety
About you
- You are an experienced Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Project Manager from the local Commercial Construction Sector
- You are willing to provide all relevant certificates and licenses
- You have completed relevant tertiary or formal training
- You demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- You are confident in industry software, technology and all MS365 functions
- You may have a formal or trade background, a keen desire to provide outcomes for clients and enjoy your work
