Job Description
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft from our base at Perth Airport. We specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.

As our new
Safety and Compliance Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing safety and compliance of our Network Aviation systems within the Ground Operations department. This role will see you work with department managers to develop and maintain OHSE procedures, review and analyse data and make recommendations.
To be successful in this position, you must be a self-starter, with the ability to communicate effectively across the Network Group, and the Perth Airport operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate and participate in risk assessments
- Analyse data to identify trends, and make recommendations
- Monitor and track audit, Intelex (internal safety system), and investigation actions to ensure timely responses to findings
- Foster effective communication between management, crew, and the OSH committee
- Present back findings and trends in weekly DCI meetings
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Experience within an operational role, with a focus on safety and compliance
- Experience using Safety Management Systems to identify trends
- Ability to present complex information clearly to a varied audience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
- Experience using Intelex and Power BI preferred, but not essential
- Strong skills in interpreting and analysing data to draw meaningful conclusions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated with a strong team spirit.
