Project Manager - Retail Shopfitting & Commercial joinery

For over two decades, our company has established itself as a leading commercial and retail shopfitter in Dandenong South, partnering with many of Australia's major brands, both nationally and in New Zealand. With a dedicated team of around 40 employees, we pride ourselves on our ability to manage all aspects of projects, from design through to manufacture and installation.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing shop fit-outs and commercial joinery, who must have experience in large retail store fit outs to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, quoting, delivery, installation, and client follow-up.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate effectively with various trades and coordinate site visits.
- Schedule installations and ensure work is executed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with internal teams, including design, manufacturing, and operations.
- Understand project requirements and liaise with department heads, production managers, clients, and on-site supervisors.
- Adapt to flexible working hours as required by specific projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the retail fit-out and commercial joinery sectors.
- Must have experience in large retail store fit-outs.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with on-site Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) practices.
- Ability to develop and nurture client relationships effectively.
