Job Purpose Manage pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives. Successfully lead the project delivery process and drive completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements. Deliver works that fully satisfy the UGLRL’s and the Client’s expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives. Additionally, managing site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects. Key Responsibilities • Define and fulfil UGLRL TAO Obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practise. • TAO requirements and quality • Review and arrange the approval designs as construction. • Accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications. • Accountable for creation, updating and adherence to the project programme. • Liaise with Project Planner to ensure adequate track possession by methods of long-term application or As Trains Permit bid sheets • Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project. • Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions Qualifications • Graduate diploma in railway signalling; or • Cert IV in railway signalling or equivalent; or • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics or Similar). • Rail Infrastructure Workers Card “RIW”, plus relevant track access competencies (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period). • NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction “White Card” (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period). • Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License • 8-15 years’ post graduate experience with 8+ years site based • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
