Role Description
This is a Part time or Full time role for a Civil Engineering Junior at Houghton & Meredith PTY LTD in the Greater Sydney Area.
The Civil Engineering Junior will be involved in civil engineering design, communication with project stakeholders, and project management on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering, Project Manager, Surveying or Related Industry skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Project Management experience
- Candidate must be studying a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Surveying or related field
- Knowledge of relevant software programs, such as Ms and project management tools
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to understand and Implement WHS
- Understanding of specifications and QA
- Understanding of WHS Act 2011
- Experience in Reading specs
- Experience in Planning of worksites
- Able to communicate and work with subcontractors and stake holders
- Provide support to the Engineer and Foreman’s
- Experience with preparing construction cost estimates including take offs for preparing bill quantities
- Understanding of Tending process and Quotes.
