About The Company/role
Our client is a food packaging and laboratory consumable manufacturer based in Adelaide’s Southern Suburbs. Their products are sold domestically and globally (Europe, China, NZ and South Africa). This role is a short-term contract role to improve the current WHS system within the business and will report to the QHS&E Manager.
Responsibilities Include
- Update existing WHS policies and procedures
- Coordinate activities between Operations & Engineering
- Maintaining and improving the WHS Management System
- Conduct risk assessments
Skills/experience
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline – Science/Engineering
- Experience working in WHS and ideally assisting to implement WHS systems
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer Microsoft suite skills
- Attention to detail and working to meet defined criteria
- Ability to work autonomously and develop, coordinate, prioritize actions for key plan segments.
