THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Advisor and working closely with department managers, the Recruitment Advisor is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to ensure quality and timely recruitment of vacant positions in accordance with Pilbara Minerals Guidelines and seamless onboarding of candidates.
This is a Maternity leave coverage position for a 12-month maximum term contract at our corporate office in West Perth.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with department managers to fill vacant positions
- Prepare internal and external job advertisements,
- Shortlist applications, conduct phone screens, arrange and conduct interviews
- Ensure all satisfactory pre-employment checks are met, including reference checks
- Negotiate and issue offers of employment
- Maintain oversight of the mobilisation and onboarding process to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
- Review and maintain position descriptions,
- Proactively communicate to Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
- Provide recruitment process expertise, following best practices and excellent candidate care.
- Issue weekly recruitment reports and updates
ABOUT YOU:
- Previous experience in an internal recruitment environment within the mining or industrial industry.
- Delivery of the End-to-End recruitment of white and blue collar position.
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong candidate management skills, ensuring optimal candidate experience throughout recruitment.
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Previous experience with the PageUp recruitment system will be highly regarded.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels
- Obtain a strong customer service focus.
