We are thrilled to present a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. As the latest addition to our workforce, you will undertake responsibility for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's mobile and fixed plant equipment located at Peppertree Quarry, Marulan site.
Please note that this role will be a day and night rotation shift pattern.
Day shift hours start at 8:00am till 8:00pm consecutively for 4 weeks. You will work 4 days on with 4 days off.
Night Time shift hours start at 7:00pm till 7:00am consecutively for 4 weeks. You will have 4 nights on and 4 nights off.
Within this role you will be expected to work weekends and public holidays as per your roster.
Your day will involve:
- Safe operation of dump truck, front-end loader, 360 excavator and other quarry mobile plant as required
- Safe operation of the crushing plant
- Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
- Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
- Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
What are we looking for?
- Experience in mobile plant operation
- HME licences is advantageous but not essential
- Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday
