Synaco has partnered with an industry leading waste management company due to continued growth they are seeking Excavator Operators for a landfill site in KempsCreek.
Tenure: Ongoing
Days & Hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 4:30pm
Pay rate: ORD$46.10p.h + Super
Duties
- Operating bulldozer and various other earthmoving equipment ie. compactors, excavators, dump truck, loader
- Maintain a professional image and deliver high quality customer service at all times
- Inform and assist customers of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading or compacting of waste or other materials
- Excavate, load, transport soil to cover waste in accordance with company policy
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations
Ideal Candidate
- Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
- Previous experience in civil construction industry or waste industry
- Must have drivers licence as there is no access to public transport on site
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience and or qualifications in operating a variety of mobile plant and equipment ideally in the waste industry.
