Vestas have released a new and exciting position and require an experienced and enthusiastic Turbine Engineer to work with our wind farms across Australia and New Zealand. This is an important role where you will monitor and analyze incoming data regarding the efficiency and production of energy from the individual turbines.
This is a great opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders across the company and the region, including indivduals servicing the wind farms.
To be successful in this role, you will not only need to be able to focus on the technical but also has a strong grasp on people skills and relationship management.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a mark in the ANZ wind industry.
Responsibilities
- You will analyse data of the wind farms via our Scada systems and provide recommendations to internal and external teams
- Perform operational analysis of wind farms such as availability of wind farms and lost production factor (LPF), improve and maintain the availability and LPF of all our farms as per contractual requirements
- Conduct regular wind farm reliability meetings with internal and external stakeholders, maintain project process's involving technical and commercial responses to internal and external stakeholders
- Actively look for improvement opportunities based on data analysis and collaborate with various internal stakeholders and improve the overall performance of all wind farm assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Asset and/or Performance management
Competencies
- Knowledge in analytical software is an added advantage
- Able to multitask and prioritize daily work and concise communication to stakeholders
- Flexibility in working hours to cover different time zones
- Advanced analytical skills and able to work in and adapt to an ever growing and changing environment
