Responsibilities
Safety
- Regular attendance and participation in safety and toolbox meetings
- Ensure third party compliance to Weatherford HSE procedures whilst on all Weatherford premises
- Actively promote a positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture whilst on all
Core Tasks but not limited to such
- Assist the local operational teams during communications with clients and vendors regarding equipment technology and integration.
- Assist in the development of maintenance technician knowledge and competence on all applicable TRS technology
- Responsible for completing rig surveys
- Provide field support
- Provide assistance when required with all Corrective and Preventative Action Reports (CPAR)
- Required to travel to Asia Geozone locations to support maintenance and field activity.
- Available for on call support for Asia Geozone operations to assist local teams with operational difficulties.
- Repair and test a range of hydraulic and mechanical equipment in a workshop of field environment
Qualifications
Essential
- Australian Trade certificate mechanical/electrical discipline
- Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to trouble shoot and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
- 5-7 years post trade experience
- Holds a high risk licence
Advantageous
- Program Logic Control (PLC) knowledge and maintenance experience
- Proficient with AutoCad and Creo drawing programs
- 10 years related experience of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Tubular Running Services experience
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS
- Based in Malaga, Western Australia
- 8am - 4:30pm
- Involves 25% Travel (Domestic and International - Asia, visiting the rig when required)
