ResponsibilitiesThe TRS Operations Support Engineer is a key resource of the product line operations to assure best in class service and flawless execution of TRS operations. This position serves the purpose of a functional link between all TRS operations personnel to ensure necessary support is provided to comply with all expectations of the PL's services.

- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.

OPERATIONAL CAPABILTY
- Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill organizational and PL's goals efficiently and effectively. Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track performance, trends and department direction. Prepare and present Quarterly Geozone KPI statistics to the operations team.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of Operational Control Plan processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, and output while aligned to our standards and policies.
- Provide technical support for both Weatherford TRS Operations teams and Customers and acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME). Work with Engineering and other SMEs to align our processes with Engineering guidelines as required.
- Develop, communicate and implement Geozone wide strategy initiatives to ensure operational excellence.
- Interface with Operations personnel, management and Customers on issues relating to training, tool failures such as processes, procedures, and technical updates and be fully involved in the management of change of these with all parties concerned.
- Ensure that processes for equipment integrity are in place and drive continual improvement in equipment performance, reliability, safety and legal compliance, working with GPL, manufacturing, R&D as required.
- Provide guidance on WCAP requirements for field personnel, monitoring progress and following up to ensure required compliance for ongoing operations.
- Own and manage TMDE database for PL ensuring that all test equipment is certified for operational use.
- Ensure Client service expectations are being met. Perform regular inspections on workshop maintenance processes, rig operation procedures and ensure compliance with PL Governance Material.
- Review field job reports, approve or decline and provide guidance to field personnel for accurate and timely completion of jobs reports.
- Client visits and constant communication to demonstrate our commitment and promote the Weatherford OEP process. Addressing issues and emphasizing the value of contracting relevant PL's services.
- Assist incident investigations as an SME where/when needed and ensure these incidents are being communicated within the workflow.
- Ensure equipment upgrade bulletins are being implemented and followed in the relevant databases.
- Participate in creation and revision of the technical work instructions as directed by GPL team in line with the documentation control process with revision control and promote usage of WISE for any documentation change requests.
- Focal point / subject matter expert on MyAdvisor primarily to workshop personnel and secondary to field personnel in more remote locations where full maintenance is being performed.
- Assist in compliation of Prevenative Maintenance Inspection Test Plans (PMITP) for each contract.
- Work with the locations across the Geozone to implement the new standards and API Q2 standards (if required/ applicable) in home location.
- Assist with all field position promotion up to and including G9 controls. Will oversee breakouts to completion as aligned with PL's standards.
- Oversee PL's training and competence strategy consistent with Company's Global processes and goals. Support with competency assessment and track completion rates, reporting any gaps to the Operations Manager.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Product Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
- Monitor and update Field Engineer progression and promotional seating of all Operations personnel including follow up and advising Operations Manager of any gaps.
COMMUNICATION
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
- Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports.
QualificationsREQUIRED
- Fresh graduates with a Bachelor's degree will be considered, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic systems are required.
- Business skills in Operations and Administration.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use diplomatic skills in dealing with company and outside customer personnel
- Should be able to work closely with internal and external customers
PREFFERED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business
- Minimum of 3 years related working experience in Weatherford TRS product line
- Field proven experience in TRS operations
