ResponsibilitiesThe R&M Manager is responsible for all aspects operating the R&M Facility, including providing overall direction, planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution with regards to Safety, Quality and Cost with all direct and support employees at the facility. The R&M Manager will also be responsible for achieving the assigned Key Performance Indicators and Objectives defined timely to satisfy operational demands and business needs. This will be accomplished through consistent implementation and daily execution of our global R&M standards ensuring user compliance throughout the R&M cycle.
- Effectively manage cross functional relationships, expectations, and consistent communication with other departments to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment as well as drive productivity and to deliver on-time delivery (OTD) daily to the business needs.
- Operate fully in relationship to models established for area(s) of responsibility.
- Interface with Company engineers, strategic sourcing, project management, human resources, logistics, customer service, and accounting personnel regarding facility operations, process optimization, methods development, personnel development, outside supplier development and performance, strategic project implementation, quotes, and order management for analyzing and preparing monthly financial reporting.
- Oversee planning and scheduling of production and authorize all necessary resources to meet OTD expectations within the facility's and/or R&M budget.
- Develop and implement improvements to productivity, cost management and inventory management, including evaluating and maintaining appropriate levels of R&M parts responsible for OTD.
- Ensure proper use, care and preventive maintenance for all R&M workshop equipment providing optimal working condition and utilization to maximize personnel productivity minimizing repair cost and downtime impeding OTD.
- Responsible for the collaboration, implementation and executions of continuous improvement activities ensuring that Lean concepts are incorporated into the design, build and daily operations of the R&M facility locations which will drive optimized OTD and Cost.
- Various continuous improvement or development projects as assigned by manager.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent to 5+ years of experience related to R&M and/or manufacturing
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or R&M setting with hands on involvement in leading productivity improvement via setup reduction, tooling improvements, etc.
- 5 years of supervisory experience with multiple direct reports
- Legally authorized to work in assigned location
- Fundamental Lean Training and background knowledge of lean principles
- Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry
- Experience working in a multi-product line plant serving international customers
- Ability to interact in language relevant in local plant
