ResponsibilitiesABOUT THE ROLEWeatherford Malaga, Perth is seeking a fulltime permanent MAINTENANCE and LOGISTICS SCHEDULER to start immediately. This role is focused on managing and coordinating the efficient planning and scheduling of component parts and asset maintenance to satisfy customer demand, analyses and revises work orders to ensure proper utilization of parts and to provide appropriate delivery dates. Also, this role works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, analyse reports on actual customer demand, trends, and forecasts, and adjusts capacity plans accordingly.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OPERATIONS - Asset Order Log Management, tracking client requirements and updating schedule.
- Schedule asset utilization and forecast redeployment requirements.
- Schedule inventory requirements and raise orders through Product Line Support Team
- Analyses data for use in maintenance planning and scheduling, maintaining, and developing Best Practices for preventative maintenance.
- Assembles master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan.
- Comprehends the relationship between capacity management and D/MRP, oversees the loading of work center inputs and outputs, resolves disparities between workstation loads and available capacity, and gauges the utilization and effectiveness of workstations.
- Coordinates information with other functional staff, including customer service, engineering, accounting, and human resources.
- Determines available capacity before planned orders are released.

- Monitor work order costs and document and validate variances to maintenance estimates.
- Works closely with finance on actual billing forecast

QualificationsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED - 4+ years of experience in Logistics, Asset Management, Maintenance, Scheduler in the heavy industry like Mining, Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment Leasing, Heavy Machinery Manufacturing etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in work processes for Notification Management, Work Order Management, Maintenance planning & Scheduling
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Solid understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Solid, proven organizational, project management and leadership skills.
PREFERRED- Accredited 4-year college degree.
- 4+ years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven environment
- Experience with MRP/ERP Software
- Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS Certified Supply chain Professional (CSCP)
- JDE Working Knowledge
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS- Based in Malaga, Perth
- Standard work hours - 8am - 4:30pm
- This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%
