Vestas Australia is excited to announce a new opportunity within the Power Plant Solutions Department! The Plant Performance function is seeking a Lead Performance Engineer to oversee technical aspects of Wind Farms Power and Acoustics performance. This individual will ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations and contractual warranties. As the Lead Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for the assigned project performance scope, reporting to the Head of Plant Performance APAC.
The Plant Performance function primarily supports Sales, Construction, and Service on performance and compliance aspects of all projects in APAC. You will be working with a team of friendly and like-minded performance engineers overseeing the plant performance of all Vestas projects in the APAC region.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the plant performance aspect for the assigned projects end-to-end.
- Preparing RFQs to engage contractors and consultants for their respective scopes.
- Running internal analysis to validate the performance of the assets.
- Review designs and technical reports related to the performance scope.
- Provide technical expertise to internal & external stakeholders in relation to the performance scope.
- Liase with other teams and SMEs within Vestas locally and globally as needed.
- Managing and improving the current tools and processes available and promoting such improvements globally within Vestas.
Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or renewables.
- 7+ years' experience in similar field.
- Experience in wind and/or other renewable industries is preferred.
Competencies:
- Tonality / Acoustics monitoring and analysis experience (Required)
- Renewables assets operation, testing or performance experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Required).
- Intermediate SQL skills (Preferred).
- Basic Python skills (Desired).
