Responsibilities
Weatherford Malaga, WA is seeking for a Full Time Permanent Workshop Labourer II who will be involved in the day to day running of the pressure washer bay cleaning tools and equipment, sandblast bay and some paint preparation/booth work. This role is expected to assist wherever needed within the site, this maybe WHS or shopfloor.You will also be involved with all 5S operations and cleaning the area making sure standards have been meet. You are expected to always keep your area tidy and audit the area daily to the 5S standard. This role will report to the Base Manager.
- Daily duties will include working in the pressure wash bay, sandblast booth and paint booth including masking to ensure a good paint job is completed, you will be required to alternate between areas to ensure workload is completed.
- Maintaining the wash bay and ensuring all areas are left clean and tidy.
- Being responsible for site wide cleaning and maintaining the yard, facilities and donga areas, weekly inspection checklists and some annual ones must be completed to ensure the site is maintained and is fit for use.
- Advise Base Manager of any bins that need emptied and areas of concern that need to be maintained or fixed.
- Advise LPG and Diesel level on site to Base Manager.
- Complete ad hoc tasks given by Base Manager for any site maintenance needed.
- Ensure all work is completed as required to complete deliveries, discuss with product lines to understand priorities, work with ICO to complete priorities and assist were possible other areas on site as and when required to hit deliveries.
- 5S daily cleaning of site and area.
- Maintaining all equipment that has been used, fit for next use.
- TRA board daily to cover risks.
- There will be constant FLT work up to 16 ton, you need the ability to work on your own and within a team, excellent time management is a must.
- Attend daily facility meetings and any other required meetings.
- Overtime required to be worked as and when needed
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL
- Forklift License
- Drivers License
- 3+ years of experience in manual work in the heavy and resource industry
- Dogging/Crane ticket is advantageous
