Responsibilities
ABOUT THE ROLE
Weatherford Malaga, Perth is currently seeking a full-time permanent R&M Supervisor. This role is responsible for coordinating and leading the day-to-day shop operations of Repair and Maintenance activities. The role enforces the proper implementation of company guidelines, technical work instructions, test procedures, schematics, engineering notices, and best practices. Further responsibilities include ensuring that direct reports are trained and competent to perform specific related tasks, preserving a healthy and safe environment, and maintaining top-quality control over all maintenance activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
- Performance Management, set KPI's, mid- year / yearly reviews.
- Morning Toolbox Talks, share alerts, safety bulletins update board.
- Manage WCAP, schedule technicians training.
- Manage direct reports
- Mentor and supply technical support to workshop.
- COID Log Meetings / Planning x 8 per week - manage workload office and mechanics.
- Update Mechanics Workload
- Assist Picking Mechanics Tools.
- Manage customer communication.
- Manage / Organize customer QA/QC requirements.
- Manage Customer QA/QC issues
- Manage Service Delivery Issues / MyAdvisor from Workshop - escalate to service excellence / raise WISE.
- Assist Service Delivery with supplying information for investigations
- Reach out for quotes - call vendors for updates
- Review quotes and approve for raising PO's.
- Chase Procurement Hub for PO approvals.
- Assist receipting incoming PO's
- Assist reviewing asset transfer requests.
- Manage and update order log - update / remove.
- Manage Facility load out schedule
- Raise OQ forms for quoting.
- Personnel sourcing
- Complete CCU checklist for load outs
- Assist QA/QC Admin
- PMITP Reviews.
- Design Of Service Meetings.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
- 4-5+ years related experience
- High School diploma (or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent)
PREFERRED
- Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering Degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
- Understanding of basic administration and management; Strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics
- Basics of Root Cause Analysis
- Fundamentals of Inventory Management and resource planning
- Operations monitoring & management of personnel resources.
- Critical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving.
- Proficient reading and writing skills, strong judgment, and decision-making to be in line with policies & procedures.
- Time management
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
- Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery.
- Good oral expression and comprehension to communicate effectively with others.
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS
- Based in Perth, Malaga.
- May require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%.
