About The Role
Due to the rapid growth of the G'day Group, we are in the midst of a historic transformation. With significant investment in the development of our holiday parks and resorts, we aim to deliver industry-leading experiences to our customers.
As part of this expansion, we are seeking a Client-Side Project Manager who is passionate about development and construction to drive our diverse projects across iconic regional Australian locations. As a key member of our established Development team, you will take on challenging and rewarding projects that are vital to the future of our business.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your Project Management expertise in the accommodation and tourism industry. You will thrive as a client-side project manager, delivering exceptional outcomes while contributing to the growth of our company and enhancing guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple holiday park development projects (infill projects $1-5M, greenfield projects $10-40M) simultaneously.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead planning and design consultants from project inception.
- Drive the continual improvement of project systems and guidelines.
- Oversee consultants, engineers, and trades to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
- Formulate and manage project budgets, timelines, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders and navigate complex negotiations.
- Maintain compliance within your delegation and ensure risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and assess the success of project milestones, strategies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Operations team for project staging and updates.
- Integrate customer insights and environmentally friendly considerations into designs.
- Regular intra/interstate travel required.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary/trade qualifications in construction or equivalent discipline.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience with cost estimating, design and engineering coordination, and project programming.
- Ability to manage planning and building consent processes through consultants.
- Expertise in budget management, contract administration, and site-based project oversight.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to process improvement and quality control.
- E/WHS knowledge is essential.
