Key Responsibilities:
•Researching global and regional fashion trends, including Indian and Punjabi styles.
•Designing original garments that incorporate traditional Indian and Punjabi aesthetics.
•Selecting fabrics and embellishments suitable for culturally specific designs.
•Developing patterns and samples with attention to cultural authenticity.
•Managing production timelines and ensuring quality.
•Conducting fittings and making adjustments as needed.
•Collaborating with suppliers for material sourcing.
•Preparing sketches and design specifications.
•Coordinating with marketing for culturally aligned promotions.
•Presenting collections to senior management.
•Understanding sustainable practices in traditional attire production..
To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:
•A degree in fashion design or a related field.
•Strong creative skills and an eye for style and detail.
•Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD.
•Knowledge of fabrics, materials, and garment construction.
•Experience with trend analysis and forecasting.
•Ability to develop and manage design projects from concept to completion.
•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
•Strong knowledge of fashion industry standards and target markets.
•Time management skills to meet deadlines.
•Experience in fitting sessions and garment adjustments.
•An understanding of sustainable practices and current industry trends..
