Mergent Group is seeking skilled carpenters for a short-term contract located at Olympic Dam. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale office fit-out project, running from now until March 2025.
We’re looking for well-rounded carpenters with a broad skill set. Shopfitting experience is also a plus!
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will work on a variety of tasks including:
- Installing walls, doors, and windows
- Roofing, ceiling work, and some gyprock installation
Essential Requirements
- Current driver’s license
- White Card
- Work Safely at Heights certification
- EWP 11m+ license (or willingness to obtain it)
Roster And Accommodation
- DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out)
- 8/6 roster
- Shared quality accommodation provided
Qualifications And Experience
- Trade qualification in Carpentry
- Experience in office fit-outs or similar large-scale projects is preferred
- Strong all-round carpentry skills
- Ability to work efficiently within project timelines
