Join our dynamic team – Graduate Engineer
Berrigan Shire Council is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and delivery of a range of engineering projects. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain practical experience, and contribute to the development of your local community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design – Investigate, survey, design and prepare drawings for engineering works;
Projects - Liaise with public authorities and Council staff on projects;
Asset Management - Carry out a condition assessment of the council’s assets and record the information in the asset database system.
Team Player - Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project alignment with council objectives.
What You’ll Need
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia;
Ability to work co-operatively and efficiently in a team environment;
General understanding on project management and asset management;
Willingness to learn;
Class C Driver's Licence

This is a full-time position classified at Grade F Entry Level under Council’s current salary structure with a salary range based on qualifications and experience from $68,136.00 & $76,688, plus 11.5% statutory superannuation and a 70-hour 9-day fortnight. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2023.
