What’s the role?
The Facilities Coordinator, reporting to the SA Facilities Manager, plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of building facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and tenants. This position is responsible for coordinating facility maintenance, managing vendor relationships, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting daily operations in collaboration with the Facilities Manager and other departments.
About the the role:
Schedule regular maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), inspect areas, log maintenance requests, and address repairs promptly.
Help manage relationships with vendors, and monitor service quality and timeliness.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including fire safety, building codes, and OSHA standards. Perform regular safety inspections, recommend improvements, and maintain safety certifications and permits.
Monitor facility-related inventories, such as office supplies and cleaning products, order as needed, and maintain organized storage areas.
Assist with space planning, coordinate office moves, handyman duties, and furniture installations, and maintain accurate floor plans and seating charts.
Maintain detailed records of facility operations, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service agreements, and assist the Facilities Manager with administrative tasks as required.
Who are you?
Previous experience in facilities or similar field (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
