About the role
We are looking for a driven and results oriented individual to deliver WOW service across the Global Synthetics products, provide solution-based calls and deliver growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve targets and drive business success. The role will also include immersing yourself into our Culture and embodying our core values in every aspect of your work.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to accelerate customer engagement and drive growth
- Build a great understanding of all products and product categories and use the knowledge effectively to drive customer growth
- Generate leads and drive new business
- Enter and manage orders and quote customers
- Continuously drive to increase sales by understanding and responding to customer needs
- Create strategies for expanding the company's customer base and market presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to generate effective marketing campaigns.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the target market.
- Report on sales activities and budgetary requirements
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions.
- Commitment to Systems and improvements
- Understand and comply with the company policies including the Integrated Management System Policy Statement.
- Understand and follow systems and processes as detailed in our Integrated Management System procedures and documents.
- Provide feedback and report on issues or improvements to the system
- To be successful, candidates must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or the appropriate working visa.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development role or similar
- Civil Engineering experience would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships
- Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed
- Self-motivated, driven and familiar with remote working conditions
- Ability to work autonomously and able to take ownership of results
