Position: Production Technician/Machine Operator
Full time perm position. Hours are day shift between 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm however some flexiability is required.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician/Machine perator in a full time permanaent capacity to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pasteurisation equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the production process. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pasteurisation equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and adjust temperatures, pressures, and other variables for effective pasteurisation of liquid egg products.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues.
- Accurately complete necessary documentation and records in a timely manner.
About You
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training.
- Understanding of food safety principles.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards is a plus.
