Due to yet another recently successful project win and a solid pipeline of future work already confirmed, this principal contractor is needing to look for additional experienced Civil Engineers & Project Managers to join their team.
With over 30 years' experience specialising in road, structures, bridge and piling projects throughout SEQ and northern NSW, they have a strong focus on ensuring high quality deliverables for their clients and project stakeholders.

Your new role
Opportunity is available for experienced civil construction
- Site Engineer
- Project Engineer
- Project Manager
Responsibilities will include
- Implementing and creating innovative, cost-efficient construction methodologies and techniques.
- Working actively with the foreman and workforce to ensure the highest level of productivity
- Produce construction programs for projects together with Superintendents and Supervisors.
- Continuous monitoring of the program throughout the life of the project ensures milestones are completed on time.
- Resource planning as required to achieve the project initiatives
- Identify required variations, quantity increases or decreases and any additional scope of works to produce appropriate variation correspondence.
- Cost monitoring for activities and adjusting if required
- Preparation and analysis of end of month project costs reports.
- Monitor environmental controls.
What you'll need to succeed
A degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Business from an accredited Tertiary institution
- Demonstrated significant civil engineering experience
- Management and leadership skills and a proven ability to lead a team
- Recent experience of overseeing road projects along with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well both autonomously and in a dynamic team environment
- Experience on bridge and / or pili / structures projects would be highly regarded.
