Position Summary:
You will play an important role in positioning and demonstrating Bentley Infrastructure Cloud software, designing SYNCHRO-focused solutions for construction projects, and supporting Bentley sales teams.
Your Day-to-Day:
Supporting technical discovery engagements with customers and prospects
Developing and conducting technical SYNCHRO presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients engaged in the conceptual design and development of construction projects
Designing SYNCHRO-focused solutions for construction projects
Traveling to client sites, trade shows and seminars (in-person and virtual) to perform SYNCHRO product presentations and demonstrations
Providing feedback to product managers and marketing teams on client requirements, product problems/opportunities, and application success stories
Close cooperation with corporate account managers, regional account managers, and channel partners to find and develop business within territory
Working with User Success teams to support customers’ SYNCHRO growth and expansion
Assisting account managers and the Proposal team with preparing proposals
Maintaining and continually upgrading technical understanding of products
Assisting prospects in resolving technical problems
Performing post-sale technical support duties, including installation and training.
Approximately 30% travel required.
What You Bring to The Team:
Understanding of construction practices and workflows in the infrastructure market.
In-depth practical experience of using SYNCHRO and ProjectWise’ Knowledge of OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Designer, and Lumen RT would be an advantage.
Prove experience of demonstrating software to customers.
Good working knowledge of different construction technologies including Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Procore, Revizto and Bluebeam
Experience of implementing best practice design and construction collaboration using ISO 19650
Good working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling applications
Accredited as a developer of the Bentley iTwin Platform combined with expert knowledge of iTwin Design Validation, Insights and Review
An understating and experience of 3D, 4D and 5D project delivery processes
Detailed and creative problem solver
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills
Able to resolve pre-sales technical problems, working with field sales personnel
Strong communication skills in technical concepts for client demonstrations, proposals, training, and client problem resolution
Experience of selling technical construction software would be an advantage
A degree in Civil Engineering
At least ten years’ experience in the civil/construction engineering industry, including at least three years’ experience of working in the civil/construction engineering software industry.
