Council is seeking a hardworking and motivated Parks and Gardens Labourer to join our operation team within the Open Space department.
About The Role
Not limited to the below, an average day may see you:
- Mowing and maintaining community lawns & passive open space parks
- Clearing litter and debris
- Performing general maintenance tasks and manual excavation as directed
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools such as lawn mowers (push and ride-on) edgers, whipper-snippers and other small plan machinery
About The Person
We seek individuals who have:
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A current Driver’s Licence (MR Licence preferred)
- WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Previous experience in a similar position and a Chemical Users Certificate will be highly regarded.
What’s On Offer
We are offering a remuneration between
$58,436.55 - $67,202.04 per annum + Allowance + Super.
