This is an exciting opportunity, which doesn't come around often, for a Site Manager to join their team on a commercial defence project valued up to $10m The project is located near Rockingham.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Effective onsite management of all site resources including subcontractors, trades, staff and equipment
- Delivery of projects safely, efficiently and effectively through meeting the project success criteria’s of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety and process compliance
- Lead, manage and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and ensure behaviors are aligned with company values
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities including labour
- Ensure effective planning and communication of all activities
Desired experience:
- Defence experience preferred.
- Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
- Experience working on commercial new build projects $5M+
- Proven experience as a General Foreman / Site Manager working on construction projects in Perth
- Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
