The Role:
As we continue to experience growth, we are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the team.
Reporting to the Commercial and Procurement Manager – Civil & Infrastructure, your primary responsibility is to partner with and support projects across the customer stream in procurement, contract management and administration.
This will include, but is not limited to:
- Contract management including head contract review, departures and negotiation;
- Lead the performance of contract administration activities including preparing and issuing variations, notices of delays, extension of time and progress claims;
- Assist Project Teams in undertaking negotiations Subcontractors and Suppliers with respect to the contract, subcontract packages and variations;
- Lead and drive the negotiation and execution of Subcontractor and Supplier agreements;
- Review and analyse subcontractor recommendations and requests in line with project procurement registers prior to forming and executing agreements;
- Assist with any potential disputes with a view to early resolution; and
- Site travel may be required.
About You
As the successful applicant you will have:
- Qualifications in Law, Business, Finance, Construction Management or a related degree;
- Experience in contract administration, including drafting and issuing of notices;
- Proven knowledge and experience in drafting, negotiating and issuing Subcontractor agreements;
- Previous experience in civil and construction will be highly sought after;
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol and fit for work assessment
