Currently seeking a motivated Contracts Manager/Administrator to work on an exciting renewables project in South Australia. This is a 2 year fixed-term contract.
About the role
- All aspects of upstream contract management for projects in delivery, including preparation of variations, extensions of time, payment claims and ensuring compliance with the head contract;
- Managing key suppliers and subcontractors, including assessing claims, variations, extensions of time and other contractual notices;
- Reviewing, negotiating and executing upstream and downstream contracts, including scopes of work, technical departures and other contractual documents;
- Identifying key project risks and developing appropriate mitigation strategies;
- Providing commercial and contractual advice to the project team and assisting to resolve contractual disputes
Key Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a commercial or contracts position with a focus on upstream customer management;
- Sound understanding of infrastructure contracts and contract management processes; • technically proficient in contract management processes (including maintaining registers, preparing variation proposals and processing payment claims);
- Strong commercial acumen;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Current driver's licence;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively organise and prioritise demands;
- Skills to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
