About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a
Project Manager with a background in Commercial Construction, ideally with project values from $1million to $20million. Our new Project Manager would ideally be from a Carpentry back-round that has moved into a Management role within Commercial Construction or Interiors. With clients from local Government to Private Schools and Churches this Mackay Construction company is firmly engraved into the area and has a fantastic reputation.
Key Responsibilities For The Role
- Managing projects from tender award through to handover and post construction activities.
- Oversea safety, quality, budget, and delivery of the projects.
- Problem solving and developing solutions.
- Working with project consultants
- Excellent client relations and managing relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Provide direction to Site Supervisor.
- Be able to interpret detailed drawings and documents.
- Work in a team environment with great communication skills.
- Work in with company contract Admin team
Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a PM / Site manager or in a similar capacity within the construction industry
- Cert 4 Carpentry / Building and / or Bachelor of Construction Management / Project management (or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills including written & verbal.
- An experienced Project Manager with 5+ years experience
- Must have experience in Commercial building including Schools and industrial Sheds
- Experience with Databuild, Bluebeam and Procore preferred
