We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis in the Inner North & Western suburbs.
The role will include:
- Working between multi job sites at once
- Site set outs / site establishment
- Framing and structural work
- Completing Base stages including timber subfloors and working in with concreating subcontractors / working in with building surveyors to pass inspections as per AS 2870
- Completing lock up of extensions using various cladding solutions / installing windows and flashings
- Completing internal fix as required
- Carpentry associated with bathroom renovations
- Completing hand overs to high standards
- Meeting and working in with other trades on site when required
- Keeping sites clean and tidy
- Implement and maintaining OHS for all sites
- Meeting with clients to discuss on site issues as required
- Reporting directly to Builder
- Continuously develop your carpentry skills and knowledge
To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you:
- Qualified Carpentry Certificate
- White Card
- Have at least two years on-the-job work experience as a carpenter
- Have some experience in co-ordination of trades and client liaison.
- Have a ’can do' attitude
- Problem solver
- Have driver's licence
- Confident and well presented
- Passion for the industry
- Takes pride in what they are creating
This is a highly autonomous role, requiring initiative, problem-solving and communication skills, as well as excellent carpentry skills to get the job done right and have a passion for the job!
