About The Role
Reporting to the Core Yard and Field Services Supervisors, you will be responsible for supporting the Supervisors, Mine and Exploration Geologists to achieve budgeted department targets in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
In This Role You Will
- Mark up core, processing, sampling and dispatch (including paperwork) of production and exploration drill core/samples
- Assist with data entry tasks
- Participate in solving logistical issues associated with drill and field programs in a timely fashion (e.g. drill site preparation and rehabilitation)
- Support field operations including camp logistics (e.g. water/fuel/food supply)
About You
- Experience as a Geological Technician
- Current manual C class driver’s licence
- High Risk license (Forklift)
- HR class driver’s licence (highly desirable)
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literacy skills and confident using Microsoft Office
- Work well in a diverse team environment
- Strong focus on safety and hazard identification
- Good communication skills
