The team operates as an end-to-end agent for the delivery and facilitation of the organisation’s building construction and maintenance activities. They are looking for an estimator who can produce high quality tender and quotation
Your new role
You will produce quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practice, departmental standards and client requirements. Additionally, you will assess and prepare accurate and timely project trade packages including material lists and construction programs.
Additional responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development and research of estimating, costing, contract administration and contract cost management practices.
- Working effectively with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to maximise service delivery, achieve business cost savings and satisfy client requirements. Undertaking onsite scoping for projects with little documentation and completing the extent of works and basic sketches/drawings for tendering purposes
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you have construction estimating experience and have knowledge of contemporary estimating methods used in the building, construction and maintenance industries. Furthermore, you have knowledge and experience of legislative and regulatory requirements and estimating software.
