About The Company/role
Our client is a family-run fresh fruit and juice manufacturer that has been part of the Adelaide farming community since the 1950’s. Their state-of-the-art facility is based in scenic Adelaide Hills in Ashton. They are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their tight knit, supportive team. This is a hands-on role suitable for a physically fit and energetic candidate looking to further develop and grow with the business.
Duties
- Manage daily operations and processes of the juice plant
- Provide leadership to the manufacturing team members
- Monitor production budgets and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement programs and drive this culture across the business
- Ensure schedules are in place to meet all dispatch demands
- Ensure customer specifications are met
Skills/experience
- Previous experience in beverage manufacturing facility is highly regarding (e.g. pasteurisation or other thermal processing)
- Experience with food/ beverage quality systems
- People management experience is advantageous
- Ensure the plant and processes are optimised
- Be able to follow SOPs
- Forklift ticket is desirable for the role
- Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
