About the role
We are looking for a Fixed Plant Superintendent to join our Fixed Plant team at Mesa J – Robe Valley. Your role will ensure the team is set up for success against business priorities and the seamless safe delivery of operational activities. You will be supported in your efforts in continually seeking to improve our processes, cost efficiency and productive capability across the operation.
You’ll be a part of a high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on 5 days on, 2 days off / 4 days on, 3 days off roster, residential in Robe Valley. These opportunities will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Manager, you will:

Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities

Collaborate closely with your peers, other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties

Developing, monitoring and controlling approved budget to deliver cost effective services that meet the business needs while ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory legislative provisions

Knowledge and experience in fixed plant operations & maintenance

Experience in driving a positive safety culture and ensuring relevant safety compliance as well as adherence to standards, processes and procedures for fixed plant operations and maintenance

Demonstrate understanding of budget preparation, variance analysis, cost forecasting and cost drivers.
