Lead the limestone quarry operations (drill and blast, mining, crushing, milling, screening and dispatch) team and participate in development projects and growth-related initiatives at one of our key locations in QLD.
Our Role
Located at our Riverton Limestone quarry, We Have an exciting position a short 45-minute drive west of Tenterfield. We are recruiting a suitably experienced Production Supervisor on a full-time basis. This is a newly created role and will contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of the Processing and Mining on site. The role will require the management of process plant operators to meet production targets and deliver continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess suitable qualifications and have a track record of success in supporting safe mining and processing operations. An absolute commitment to working safely while complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
This position is responsible for supervising all quarrying and production operations, also ensuring the safety and efficiency of all production activities carried out on site.

As the Production Supervisor you will:
- Ensure safe and effective operation of the mine, crushing, milling and screening operations.
- Directly manage and lead the safe and environmentally compliant production in accordance with the production plans and customer specifications.
- Provide effective leadership, career development, succession planning, leave administration, encourage innovation and performance management for their Processing Team.
- Lead and influence the performance of mining and operations team members, contractors and visitors.
- Contribute to growth projects.
- Collaborate with and positively influence various internal and external stakeholders and maintain an effective relationship within the community.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:
- We need a candidate who holds a QLD Site Senior Executive (SSE) notice or ability to obtain.
- Desirable is previous industry experience in similar roles, experience with drilling and blasting, mobile heavy equipment operations, crushing and screening and plant and equipment maintenance is an advantage.
- Essential is a willingness to give hands-on support through operation of mobile equipment as required.
- Driver’s license and right to work in Australia are essential (sponsorship arrangements can be considered).
- The Company is also open to developing an experienced candidate who will be eligible to receive a QLD SSE notice.
