Key Responsibilities:
- Footing and structural design for residential homes, ensuring stability, safety, and compliance with Australian building codes and regulations.
- Preparing detailed engineering reports and structural designs.
- Collaborating with builders, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
- Conducting site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
- Providing innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex structural challenges.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential structural design.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
- Proven experience in footing, foundation, and structural design for residential projects.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
