Premrest - Beautiful Flooring is now looking for Carpenter to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
- Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces to ensure proper installation of flooring materials.
- Create custom trim, moldings, and baseboards to complement the installed flooring.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on existing flooring, including refinishing, sanding, and staining.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and other team members to plan and execute flooring projects.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Premrest’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and recommendations.
- Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies during all stages of the project.
About you:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter;
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, including designers, installers, and project managers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
