Your Role As An Operator Refinery Will Involve
- Operate within different teams, areas and locations as required
- Operate various machinery and equipment as required
- Undertake manual handling duties, using aids such as hoists, forklift, pallet trucks, trollies, and electrical pallet trucks
- Perform physical tasks, such as holding, pushing, pulling, lifting trolleys, carrying heavy items up to 22kgs on a regular basis
- Undertake cleaning of work areas and equipment as required
- Follow the given instructions and procedures applied to the specific task
- Record production data using paper based and computerised methods
- Packing and weighing
- Quality inspection and control, ranging from measuring using different products using precision metrological instruments, to visual inspection of products
- Carry out any other additional duties, as required
- Comply with relevant procedures and policies and take Instructions from Leading Hand/Supervisors
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work
Experience
- Demonstrated Operator experience in a mining or manufacturing industry (desirable)
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
- Thrives working in a team, and collaborative environment
